Join us for the first Girl Hike of 2026! We’re so excited to take you to the beautiful Wye Downs for an energising 4.5 mile hike into the hills, finishing in Wye village for an optional pub stop with your fellow Girl Hikers. This hike is a great opportunity to welcome in spring, meet some new friends and enjoy the beautiful countryside around us. 🌸

  • 28 March 2026

    Start Time: 10:30am at Wye Station

    End Time: 13:30pm, tea stop immediately following

  • Hike Distance: ~4.5 miles

    Hike Difficulty: Moderate; this hike includes a few steep hills

  • There are regular trains to Wye Station from London, Ramsgate, Ashford and Canterbury.

    We encourage you to use public transport to reach Wye village, or carpool where possible. We’ll share details for a WhatsApp group to help in travel coordination.

  • We’ll head to the New Flying Horse pub in Wye at the end of the hike for a nibble and a drink.

    We recommend you bring a drink and snack for the hike as we’ll pause halfway through for a rest at the top of the hill.

  • There is no parking at Wye Station; please use available nearby car parks or on-street parking at your own risk.

  • Cycle storage is available at Wye Station.
